The Tradewise Masters in Gibraltar, one of the largest and best and richest tournaments in Europe, ended tonight with a blitz finish, Vitiugov of Russia beating England’s Short. Nigel tied for first place with M Vachier-Lagrave (FRA) and C Sandipan (IND). These four tied on 8/10.

Fifth place was shared by a host of stars;
